Marin Alzheimer's Center

The Senior Access Marin Alzheimer's Center (MAC) offers comprehensive Alzheimer's care five days a week. The Center provides a comfortable place during the daytime that offers activities and professional trained staff with expertise in memory disorders.

Our experienced staff understands the difficulties, behavior changes and losses experienced by persons with memory loss. Our center's environment and activities are tailored to provide meaningful and enjoyable experiences for our members, while allowing caregivers time for themselves.We offer classes in Tai Chi, art, poetry, exercise, music, dance, and cooking. Daily activities are tailored to meet the individual's wishes, needs, and enjoyment in a safe and friendly environment.

Our programs recognize and address the different abilities and needs of individuals with memory loss, and provide service tracks for early and middle stages of Alzheimer's Disease.

Early Stage Program

MAC Club on the Move is a community outing program designed especially for those in the earliest stages of Alzheimer's disease or dementia. The program is led by skilled facilitators for outings, hikes, adventures, and restaurant lunches. Enrollments are now being accepted for our next session.   • From Highway 101 take the DeLong exit in Novato
  • Go west over the freeway on DeLong
  • Remain in the left lane until after the first stop light
